Today I want to reveal some of the best and basic SEO tips for your blog. If you follow these steps, you will definitely increase traffic to your blog.
Write and submit articles
This is most likely the oldest trick in the book, but it works! Write and submit articles, this will be indefinite traffic stuck in the search engine for your blog. Write uniquely quality articles that are not posted anywhere on the web.
Write and submit press releases
These are a great way to create backlinks which search engines love! Here are a few to get you started, but why not take a look at my other blog post, 7 SEO Press Release Sites.
Search engines again love new content, you will also rank higher if your site is constantly updated. This tells the search engines that you are active and are showing new articles and information.
Encourage readers to comment on your blog posts
This will show that you have an active community, and people are interested in what you are writing. Therefore more active content and higher rankings.
Offer something for free
This can be in the shape of an e-book or any other service related that your users are interested in. It will attract readers. I am currently planning and writing an e-book for my readers, this is a great way to offer something in return for your readers.
